Oxford is predominantly a university city. The college campuses are ancient, have a rich history and are very beautiful. Each year over than four million people visit the city to tour the colleges, churches, gardens and parks, and libraries. However, there is more to Oxford than its universities. Other attractions include Christ Church Cathedral, St. Michael at the Northgate, and the Sheldonian Theatre which features striking Roman style architecture. There are many theatres in Oxford offering drama, opera, ballet, and comedy. Restaurants and pubs for all tastes abound. Our school offers many activities and excursions throughout the week, including trips to local sights as well as places in London (only 50 minutes away), Brighton, Bath, Cambridge, Warwick, The Isle of Wight and Scotland.
