The cuisine of our region is among the best the country has to offer, including handmade egg pasta, stuffed pasta like tortellini, and of course spaghetti alla Bolognese. During summer, there is an open-air disco on the outskirts of town. Year round there is plenty of nightlife in the university district. There are gorgeous churches, monuments and other buildings in the medieval part of town. The town also offers many opportunities for shopping, walking, visiting museums, and enjoying the outdoor cafes. Our school in bologna offers 10 hours of extracurricular activities each week arranged according to several basic areas of interest: the city, history and music, art, current events, Italian cooking and wine tasting, or the environment. We do our best to arrange these to your particular interests.
